Lee Kerslake - drums 1971 to 1979 & 1981 to 2007

Kerslake played in Uriah Heep for ca. 35 years. He first joined the band in late 1971 replacing Iain Clark and was with the band until 2007 except 1980 - 1981 visit to Ozzy Osbourne's band. In the beginning of 2007 he had to retire because of health reasons.

Before Heep Kerslake played in The Gods with Ken Hensley & Paul Newton. He was also in Cliff Bennett Band which evolved to Toe Fat before forming his own National Head Band. After leaving Heep for the first time in 1980 he joined Ozzy Osbourne's Blizzard Of Ozz band but returned to Heep in 1981. In 2003 he joined forces with ex-Heep and Ozzy bass player Bob Daisley in the band Living Loud. After his departure with Uriah Heep he formed Berggren-Kerslake band in 2013 with Stefan Berggren.

Lee Kerslake died after long battle against cancer 19th September 2020. His first solo album was released posthumously in 2021. There is also documentary film Not On The Heep released on DVd & digital format in 2023.
